When we try to open a file we get an error message "unable to validate your file". "Contact intuit technical support". "Unable to open selected file". How does one handle this? It all came about because Quicken froze in use before being able to be properly exited. Any ideas? Help?

The file is corrupt, simply restore your file from backup.

You do have a backup don't you?
