I´m installing win3.1 in a laptop 486 , it gives me the message "error loading progman.exe" I´ve already done the setup and only when im running it for the first time that message appears Thanks for the attention ! AT

I'm getting same message. No changes to system; running almost every day since 1/95. Now can not get pass error message. Were you able to work around/find solution? I'm told only option is r/p hard disk or computer.

ATTN EVERYONE: I got It! enter the SYSTEM.INI file in the dos program EDIT. The first two lines should say (boot) Shell=progman.exe Change it to C:\Windows\Progman.exe this worked for me and I hope It works for you!
