i get this error: incorrect version# in inf.file launcher version 3.01 I have had no problem installing other programs of my toddlers on this PC until this on. is the disk bad or is that file corrupted? the tech support had me try to run the program right from the disk, but it could not even find the program on the disk. all his other things run fine. any help would be greatly appreciated. its a 486dx2 66mhz with 8mb ram windows for workgroup 3.11 it dont have acess to the internet, and if it did it would probably be real slow at it. TIA

If you tell me which inf file you need (probably setup.inf), i can send it to you. Mail me. As for access to the net, with a fast (56k) modem, that old machine will surf nicely. I wouldn't hurt to boost the ram a little though (to 16 or 20Megs).

thanks for the response lightspeed, I have this when I go to run-sysedit C:\WINDOWS\WIN.INI [winsetup] source_disk_path=C:\windrvs would that happen to be the "setup16" file that the error refers in the title bar? is that the setup file you are referring to? is my setup file bad, or is it just the software has a different setup ver. and mine is outdated? I'm sure the old thing could do good on the net if I did what u suggested, but for now it is my 2 yr. olds until I give him this one after I get all the parts for a new one goin'.
