Comment: I need help finding a version of MSdos which will run windows 3.11. My current version does not support it (it said 'win.exe not supported by current version of msdos') Can someone please tell me where I can find a version of MSDOS which will run windows 3.11?

Reply: (edit) You need dos 6.2.Do a search for abandon ware on google.You should get lucky and find a few downloadable copys out there.

and get MS-DOS or IBM PC-DOS version 3.1 or higher (You need DOS 3.1 to run Standard and Enhanced Mode Windows). 2) Go at http://www.drdos.net/ and download the freeware Caldera DR-DOS 7.03 If you have no time, just go download DR-DOS 7.03 and pick up only the first 3 diskettes and the tools you need to write images to floppys
