I have three computers that run on DOS 3.1 and at the end of the day, i save all the information on 12 different floppies. I was wondering if there is any way to make the computer save the information onto a flash drive. There are no USB hubs the only thing on the tower is a floppy disk drive. What can i do to solve this problem? You can email me at chambljc@tribe.ulm.edu thanks

I would be surprised if 3.1 supported USB.
Actually, I'd be flabbergasted.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.M2

Me too M2G...me too. I'd dig up three old hdd's and add 'em to the machines for back-up. If the data has to be portable, it shouldn't be too hard to find a card reader or hdd enclosure that will plug into a parallel port.
I have a CF card reader that gets power from a pass thru keyboard connection and does data thru the parallel port. Not sure about drivers though; DOS 3.1 doesn't see much use anymore.
Any chance you mean Windows 3.1? If so, what is your version of DOS?
Skip

Parallel Port & ATAPI ZIP Drives are cheap/no value, 100MB & 250MB Disks, if you are the UK contact me, I have a box full....
