Hi, i run my own home server but it is getting to the point of dieing.. I will be needing a basic server. mainly for a DHCP server. Is there an option in windows 3.1 to set it up as a DHCP server?

Cheers

Martyn

People Like Playing With Settings! Thats when it goes all wrong! Before you make any changed set a SYSTEM RESTORE point. You might regret it otherwise :-S.

WfW 3.xx only has a Client.....

Windows 3.xx not sure but it utilises MS NWC3 Client/Server.

NT3.x Server may be preferable !

"If" you are running any sort of broadband router (to the Internet) then you already have another DHCP server. All broadband routers have DHCP server capability. Another option would be some sort of Linux installation.
