I have just installed the Dexxa optical mouse to my Win98 sytem. The previous serial mouse which I can still re-install if need be still works. I now find that with the new PS/2 mouse fitted certain progams act different or do not work at all. The big disapontment is Red Alert which just loads the opening screen and then hangs the complete system. Might & Magic VIII just cuts back on the sound. I feel the problem is low memory related but removing all unrequired TSR's and such has maded no difference at all. The new PS/2 mouse seems to work fine in windows and the internet. Any ideas.
