Mouse: Presario Notebooks Synaptics TouchPad Driver

Display: Presario Notebook Trident Cyberblade Cbi1 Driver

Compaq told me they don't support drivers for operating systems other than the ones they come with and/or Windows 98, so don't jump to conclusions, fool.

Well, I guess I'll just have to stick with Windows 98. Its too difficult to find drivers for an old operating system. I found a couple, not sure if they will work though.

I'm having the same problem you did, and agreed on your comments to the fool up above. Anyway, I just happened on something at Compaq's site which has a driver. Evidentally on their Evo N150 and Armada 110, they are using the same video card with 2000, so it's worth a shot. If not, I'll go back to 98 myself. The file is sp17019 and can be found on Compaq's site.

Compaq has such terrible support for their products I regret paying for it! I have a Compaq 14XL340, installed Win ME & Win 2K on it. Found most of the drivers for Win ME, but still missing the "Via WDM Audio Driver" for Win 2K, and the "NEC USB UF000x" driver for the floppy disk!

If you are still looking for floppy drive driver try sp15532 on compaq site. it works with my 14xl345 under w2K.

I found the VIA chip set audio drivers here.
every thing else 2000 detected with SP2 installed.

Compaq are such an idiots!!! The idiot fools forgot to support video drivers,Arrrrg I´m so pissed,compaq support sucks!!! They may buils nice looking Pc´s but their service and performance suck!!! Real bad.How am I supposed to recover my system now?? Oh yeah,I can order a cd with my stuff and wait 3 months until arrive,great.

To everyone who has posted useful information on this subject...THANK YOU.

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to get a second-hand machine up and running from a complete system failure. Especially when the manufacturing company provides such greedy support for their products. Once again my hat is off to you all. You've made my life a little easier.

I have a Compaq Presario 1200, and i just got win2k and the modem and audio wont work i called compaq and he told me where to get the driver for my modem and now thats fixed. But he said he didnt know where to get the audio driver can somone please help me?
