ok does any one have the packard bell master restore cd or know where i can get it the old seagate died like last year and ive been on here asking before but no one really replied so i was wondering were i could find some of the classic packard bell software i have the after dark screensavers and the classic windows games but i need navigator and kidspace so please help me out

ps: i know its an old pc but it never freezes up and i think bill gates should skip windows longhorn and come out with a sturdy gui like windows gui it uses very little memory and ram and there should be remake for it to 64 bit or 32 bit i think itll make a good buisines os itll have that 16 bit look and u can switch the back grounds from the dull 16 color to 32 bit oh and i even got a 32 bit graphics card working on my 3.1 machine :^p

so someone get in touch with me and help me u scratch my back someday i may be able to scratch yours oh and im willing to ftp or bittorent you the after dark screen saver everyones been asking for it

oh and im having a debate you think microsoft claimed they dont use the command system (dos, dirty ol sys, disk os) because it was faulty i think it was because some people couldnt type and didnt know commnads what you think?

Packard Bell Menu System

"Probably the best menuing system for DOS that I've ever come accross. Issued for use on Packard Bell computers, but equally usable on any kind of DOS based system. Nice big buttons, colourful icons and mouse pointers, looks good and is a very friendly menu to use."

Have you looked thru Packard Bell's web sites??

Hey there Chris,

I may have a restore disk for the packard bell. Can you tell me what model it is?

I think I have all the software except for the 3D Body cdrom (it was broken while in storage...)

All of this came with a packard bell legend 20CD 486-66dx, Seagate 420 mb hd, etc. It may be what you need...

Post back and let me know...
