Working on this 486 3.1 computer I can't get computer to recognise the driver for this printer. The driver is Cit9us.exe and is also compatible with the Cit 190 model and Epsom EX800.The driver i have for it contains 6006 bytes whether that helps or not.I follow all the correct proceedings, like having in a directory and point the browser at it, but the computer keeps saying that it can't find the driver and try reinstalling the printer.

brett, what you need to do, is you need to tell windows where the driver is, but not using a web browser. open your control panel, and choose "printers". then choose "add unlisted or updated printer", and point it to where your driver file is. that should work.

What I do is go through the files on the disk and pick out the one that says driver and put it on a disk by itself. After you get into control panel go to printers and click on "ADD PRINTER". When it ask if you have a disk, slip it in to A/B drive.
