Reply: (edit)Yes, look for Nero Burning Rom 4 (the last one that works with 3.1x and Win32s). For DOS there's also (16 bit)DOS software on www.goldenhawk.de

Reply: (edit)I am told the version of Nero needed is 4.0.0.3. However, after several months' searching, I have been unable to obtian it anywhere. If you should find a source, please let me know. Regards, Jon Glenny.

Reply: (edit)I have version of Nero 3.0 which works fine on my 3.1x systems. I legally purchased it some years ago for about 11 USD. I wont upload that one, but I do have a (shareware) version 4.0 which I can upload. First look at www.ahead.de to see if its still available there. If not I can upload the shareware version... BTW. I also have Win On CD To Go. This program is also for Windows 3.1x and came with my CD-Rewriter. Maybe old versions of of Adaptec Easy CD Creator work in 3.1x too. I haven't tried since I prefer Nero (which is the most recent program)....

Reply: (edit)I found a copy of the demo Nero 4.0.3.0. Apparently there were two versions--only one came with a win3x compatible installer. Nero - Burning Rom 4.0.3.0 pro Windows 3.1: demo (3.93MB): http://www.cdr.cz/software/nero_-_burning_rom/nero40w3.exe A glance through the help files however reveals that under win3x it supports SCSI burners only, not IDE. Soedesh, what's your experience? SCSI only or were you able to get it to handle IDE as well?
