CDROM support for Caldera DR-DOS

I know that this is a very basic (and non-Win3.1 related) question, but here goes: I installed Caldera DR-DOS on an NEC 200 MhZ system in hopes of installing 3.1/Calmira as the shell. I'd like to have an operational CDROM;which means that there's some drivers/CONFIG.SYS/AUTOEXEC.BAT lines that need to be added. Does anyone know whether or not they're DR-DOS specific, or would the generic MSCDEX.exe work? If the second is the case, I believe that I'd have to add MSCDEX.exe to the root directory (not sure though). And if so, I definitely don't remember the syntax of the line added to CONFIG.SYS/AUTOEXEC.BAT to get the ROM to be recognized. Any takers? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.

Of course Caldera/DR-DOS has its own NWCDEX.exe which is a good replacement for MSCDEX.exe. In some rare cases programs will not work well. These are as far as I know DOS programs which require MSCDEX.....
Summary: Syntax, in general, is the same. There are some small differences. Diskopt instead of Defrag for instance, but commands like copy, move, dir, etc. are the same. DR-DOS 7.03 is not perfect but doesn't ...
Summary: Trust me, I was haunting this whole site for a long time and got the tip from someone. Does everything the old DOS(s) do and more. Download from the Caldera site....
