Message: PLEASE tell me EXACTLY WHAT TO DO ( I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING ) I have a Panasonic 8X IDE CD-ROM Drive (Matsus---a (Mats---a Panasonic) ( Model CR-583-B ) I need to edit the autoexec.bat and config.sys files. Runing Windows 3.11 for workgroups I can not get the cd-rom drive to work. I was told I need to add lines to the config.sys and autoexec.bat But I don't kow what to put in. Please Tell me exactly what to add and how to do it. Thanks, bestbigdon

just did this yesterday. go to winvision.vze.com, click on the online forum at top. then go to windows and ms-dos. i should have a post on "cd-rom in dos and windows 3.11" or something like that.
