Message: PLEASE tell me EXACTLY WHAT TO DO ( I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING ) I have a Panasonic 8X IDE CD-ROM Drive (Matsus---a (Mats---a Panasonic) ( Model CR-583-B ) I need to edit the autoexec.bat and config.sys files. Runing Windows 3.11 for workgroups I can not get the cd-rom drive to work. I was told I need to add lines to the config.sys and autoexec.bat But I don't kow what to put in. just did this yesterday. go to winvision.vze.com, click on the online forum at top. then go to windows and ms-dos. i should have a post on "cd-rom in dos and windows 3.11" or something like that.
