CD rom drivers for dos 5.0

OS: dos 5.0 / win 3.11
CPU/Ram: 2.66 / 512

Im trying to install my cd rom driver onto dos 5.0 using downloads from the net. Its not working very well. My Config.sys and autoexec.bat look to be changing but my command.com looks rather odd with loads of error messages. Could this have an affect or have i just not found the correct driver yet?
