My PC cannot start. Always received error msg "While initializing device PPTCHPAD:
Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer". After restart it goes into safe mode. I got this problem while relaoding Win98. Thanks a lot!

could be memory going bad or in the bios disable antivirus detect

i can't get my computer to start up with ms-dos or anything for that matter starting my PC can't start windows!!! I can't get my D drive to work! Can't get my computer to run a Win95 setup disk. I need help	I CAN'T FIND MY C: Can't get cd burner to work...... 3.1 start up disc Can't access my hard drive. Can't boot up win 3.11
