Hi! I have installed IE5 and Outlook, and I'm in trouble with this one. I think I have set the right options, and I can send mails, but I can't receive. It seems to do nothing, just a flash of the status window (which shows nothing: no tasks, and -of course- no errors).
I'm sure (I asked) about the server's name, the nickname and password, and is a POP3 server too. Anyway, the program doesn't even try to connect with the server, because I put intentionally a wrong name for the server, and didn't give a error. Thanks for your help, I don't konw what else can I do (I have tried to change in Outlook many options, and my account options too).

I would'nt be so sure that you can actually send mail...it may leave the outlook box but the only reason you're not getting "mail undeliverable' messages is that your receiving address isnt set right...so they cant send you that note.
Try to enter the most correct mail sever address you can in both the send and receive settings,(they should both be the same, normally..) and try to find someone you know can receive mail, and if they tell you that they got it, then you know you're halfway there. From that point on you can keep sending yourself mail ( a one word email, saying 'testing' or something like that).
I have to set up quite a few different email progs over the week, and find that some want you to enter it like 'name@server.com, or name.pop.com, or even in my case its myISPmail- just one word...the thing is, if you know for absolutely sure that your mail is really being sent , then you'll have a lot more luck...

Thanks, but I'm sure I can send mail - I read it later in a webmail. So I don't really understand why I cand receive.
