I can't get the machine to boot to Windows. But when I use a boot disk it will get me to Windows! How do I transfer the boot data to my hard drive so that the computer will automatically load and run Windows 3.0? Thanks for you help, anyone.

put the file SYS.com on floppy and boot with floppy. at a:/> prompt type sys c: and press enter. this will make c: bootable without floppy(assuming it is enabled in BIOS).

Add the WIN command to the last line of your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. Type EDIT C:AUTOEXEC.BAT then add that as you last line--should sort your probs out Dave the snake
