i cant get back to my windows i download a boot disk and when i tried to use it it didnt work ,it said that i needed a system disk , please help me.
Firstly W3.x runs on top of DOS usually up to version 6.22, therefore you have to ensure DOS installation is complete. The easiest way is to re-install MSDOS and W3.x.
I presume you can boot from a boot disk, therefore if you understand what files need to be on hard drive you can check they are actually there.............
How do you know Windows is installed ???

i could get there before i tried to use the boot disk, can i just redo the whole computer , as you can see i dont much about conmputers,
If you have no data to lose, then wipe the drive, insert the MSDOS disk1 and after setup screen comes up press F3 twice, you will then be at A:\>_ prompt. Type FORMAT C: /Q and press enter this will remove all data from hard drive and is irreversible.
After this process has finished reboot CTRL+ALT+DEL and this time set up DOS usually 3 disks dependent on version, finally it will ask you to press enter to reboot and will then be at C:\>_ prompt, insert first W3.x disk and change to drive A: by typing A: and pressing enter and then type SETUP and press enter and install will start, several disks later everything will be installed.
