Can not see partition

I get HD - about 400 MB.
I am trying to run it on Pentium 200MHz with 64 SDRAM operating system on this HD is Win 3.11 for workgroups.
I can not boot from this HD.
BIOS is showing correct HD specification.
FDISK - is showing primary partiton - 49% and extended 51%. but only letter C is showing next to primary partition.
I connected HD with win 95 and THIS [win311] HD and I can see only primary partition [I can see Windows folder and files] on this drive, but I can not see extended DOS partition.
This HD [win 311] was running OK on 486 computer and both partition was visible but I don't have access to this machine anymore.
Please help, I have very importand files there...

Delete extended partition ,reboot and recreate it /If doesnot work-low level format HDD(find out what brand is your HDD, visit their webpage and download utility from)... and use different floppy to format it .
