paul, yes it's possible - actually i believe you just dial the number direct. however, unless it's a 1-800 or 1-888 # (i.e. toll-free), you'll pay long-distance charges, so be careful!

first of all, if you have access to windows 95/98, go into your hyper terminal directory. There is the numbers for compuserve, mci, and a bunch of other stuff. Also, the number for a library is 732-341-6043
