Comment: Hi there I have an AOpen Magic V-18 Pro mpeg card. This card has a monitor output behind and I noticed it also has another output for TV. With this TV output (resembles 3.5mm jack), I would like to know: 1) Can a TV be connected to it and act as a monitor like displaying Dos/Windows? 2) Can it be used on a modern TV set? 3) If yes all, what cable should I ask for when I want to purchase one? Thanks for the help. Kopi-O

Reply: (edit)These are assumptions only, I've no knowledge or documentation of the card type. 1) If the card doesn't function as a "primary" display device (video card), then it's unlikely you'll be able to view your DOS/Windows session. It's probably for MPG out only, if anything. Like a tape player without the tuner ability. 2) Since the download section lists most of the drivers circa '97, it should. 3) See if this helps at all. It could be a variant of S-video, but I can't see it. No documentation. HTH, and sorry for the speculations.
