I am trying to get my old Compaq Contura Aero 4/33C working. It worked fine a few months ago. However, now when I turn it on, it says 4096 KB OK. THAT'S IT! I can't get any of the buttons to work, and can't get it to read the a drive at all. Please help. Thanks.

hhmmm.... this is one of those, I got to see and check it out to actually fix it. lol.

does it say anything on the screen? If it just hangs there for a while, let it sit. my one compaq will hang for a like 3 minutes and finally give me an error. maby the battery is just dead, or something.

I am an owner of an old Aero 4/33c myself - to be frank, I cannot figure out what the problem is, but I really feel I have to express my sympathy to you! I love these machines and I hope the problem gets fixed. If I find out something, I'll let you know!
