These days the best 486 emulator is an actual 486 computer. You can get one, depending on the components and how lowly the original owner now values it, in the price range of 0 to 100 dollars. I just picked-up a 486 DX4-100 from a thrift store for $55.00 CDN. (34.38 U.S.) and it even included a 14" monitor and a ton of software.

why the hell do you want a 486 emulator?it's not an apple or some diffrent computer kind o pc.....why do you want an emu? what works on a 486 works on a now-days pc

I also would like to emulate the 386/486 environment to run classic PC ported Amiga games like Battle Isle 2 and moonstone. The list is endless, plz email me to trade Amiga classics.
