CPU/Ram: Xeon 2.4 GHZ/2gb
Product: Dell Poweredge 1750
Comment:

I have a Dell Poweredge 1750 with Intel Xeon 2.4 GHZ CPU's.

Does anyone know if the 2008 x64 OS can be installed on a system with Xeon 2.4 GHZ CPU's?

All the other stuff looks right like RAM, storage ect.

According to the MS web site it seems like it just lumps them all together. I guess the main thing is does the CPU have to be a specific 64 bit CPU or will it install on a 32 bit CPU.
Windows Server 2008 System Requirements

Thanks for your help.

X64 O/S needs a X86-64 CPU!
