Why not the firewall promt?

So the FW in 2008 seems the same as XP well the GUI does although there are a ton of config options for it obviously in 2008, i would have expected it to prompt though, to ask you if you want to allow or disallow access for outgoing and incoming connections , can i turn this feature on?

Use the firewall and I would also recommend you using IPSEC if you want to block certain ports and ips.
