I can't share files in a vpn set up between XP pro(client) and Server 2008. I have set up a vpn to share files between XP pro and another XP pro easily from home to work, but not to Server 2008. I can access the sharedrive within the LAN and remote access Server 2008 using the vpn, but cannot map to the share folder using the vpn IP. Server 2008 machine is developmental/file sharing DELL desktop. I have installed File services, Network Policies and Access Services, Web Server, BUT NOT DHCP Server or DNS Server and I am using IP addresses to map. Any help would be appreciated.
