Unable to log as an admin on the RODC

Specs: win 7 pro 64, 8

I have setup an home lab for win2008 r2. I have a desktop with win 2008 r2 setup as the primary domain controller and an RODC setup on my Laptop.
I have unplugged my desktop pc and I cannot log back on my RODC as an admin, could you please explain why? I thought all the user details would replicate onto the RODC. I also forgot to mention that the RODC is a Global catalog like the primary DC.

Thank you,

Did you set up a password replication policy? Without that the RODC won't have stored passwords and will have to forward authentication requests to another DC. Also note that AD replication is not instantaneous.

Have a look at http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/ar... .
