Hi guys,
I have two Domains in my network, (Parent and Child domains). When i try to create OU with child domain name from Parent Domail. It says the Object already exist.

Y, am unable to create OU with that name, can anybody answer for this..........

You can't create two users in AD with the same name can you even if they are in different OU's? I would have to think the same principle applies

Actually, AD object will be identified with their SID. How AD is maintaining uniqueness of AD object names. Can anybody answer for this.

The sid establishes security attributes as in security princilple objects. Its the GUID that establishes each objects uniqueness.

I maybe misreading your original post. How exactly are you trying to create OU's in the child domain?

It sounded like you were trying to create a OU in the child domain the same name as the child domain.

What is the namespace for the the root and child domains?

I mean to say, how can that domain name is recognized over the network. (b'cause it is assuming that child domain as one object in parent domain)

what could b the reason, how it is identifying Child domain.

DNS

You would have
mydomain.net
and the child would be
child.mydomain.net

"child domain as one object in parent domain"

That is not correct. Child domain is a subdomain thereby its an entity unto itself.
