Hi all,
For the last two weeks I've been stuck in migrating my web site which is now running on my home server to a dedicated server using win 2008 64 bits
Right now,I am running my web site on lean mean winxp using Jboss and using an external dns service so i thought i would host my web site easily on my dedicated server.
On win 2008 I could run my web site on localhost but i could never get access to it remotely. However if IIS is runnig i can get access to my server using IP and port 80
I disabled the firewall, opened used ports by Jboss and tried all types of config. I even disabled many services but still I can't get access to my web site front page remotely when Jboss is running
I am not using any of windows server roles such AD or DNS server.
Is there any role I should install or any config i am missing? Or should I just go for a Java-friendly OS ?
