Server 2008 start up black screen

Specs: Windows XP
Hello everyone! I want to ask why my Window server 2008 become black screen and start count amount of number like this "5650/8207 (\Registry\machine\Schema\wcm://Microsoft-Windows-IE-Pluggable...)" it's alway happen every few months. can anyone help me how to fix this. Thank for any help...

That's what happens when windows is updating the system after it reboots from a patch that you got from windows update.

Does it hang there? Because it sounds like it eventually boots for you.

If it does hang, then you need to find the registry entry that it is hanging on, go to the registry and set the permissions for the entry to everyone.

It will complete after that.

Check your CVS.log for more information

Thank Gretti for your reply. My it's sound like you're right, because when the Black Screen of that counting amount of number finish it's going to start up normally but during that start up it's say Don't Turn Off the Window while it is updating.....and about how to find the registry entry and how to set the permission for that entry can you detail me some more please...Thank for your help dear.

Oops, I miss typed on the last post. CBS.log not CVS.log, my bad

You will have to check your CBS.log for that entry.
