|"run both server on same network with different domain controller"|
Correct answer is NO you can not run with a different domain controller.
The SBS is the only domain controller by default. You can add a dc for authenication purposes.
You will not be able to xfer the SBS fsmo roles to another DC. This is the nature of SBS. It is meant to be a all-in-one standalone installation.
