Roaming Profile cant update

Hi there

I'm having a mager problem, i have 31 Workstation runing windows xp, then i have a domain controller runing windows server 2008,i created the roaming profile and working fine, but on sum of them, if i log off it say "cant update the profile", but if i restarted the Desktop everything is working 100%, is there any body with some help on this please
