Specs: Windows Server 2008
I notice in my event log there are a blocks of entries like "jobs for printer xxx will be deleted" "printer xxx will be deleted" "printer xxx was deleted" and over & over again for a bunch of printers not/never attached to the system. Whats up with this?

Could it be people getting on by Remote Desktop and all their printers are temporarily installed and deleted when they sign off or something like that?

How do I stop it from happening or at least filter out those entries when i view the event log.

Thanks. Any help appreceiated.

You are correct, this is probably coming from Remote Desktop. When a user connects in it tries to connect that user's session to the printers attached or installed on the PC the RDP session is coming from.
