Solved new server for emails

Specs: Windows XP

what are the steps to movemailboxes from sbs 2003 to new server/exchange.

Do not want to transfer FSMO roles to new server but want same login as sbs 2003. New server for emails only.

Install a member server then install exchange then Use ADUC on A Exchange server(current server ust right click on the mailbox in ADUC on the Exchange server, choose Exchange Tasks and then Move Mailbox. Follow the wizard. )

Yes you can leave the SBS as your domain controller and the new box as exchange only.But you need to change your MX record and some exchange related things

Install a member server then I have to run dcpromo to Add a domain controller to an existing domain with sbs2003 as DC will not casuing issue
