hey evryone, i've connected my old HD to my new computer, but i cant access the files on it, i can open all the folders, but when it comes to the actual files(pictires, document etc.) my access is denied, any help polease?

I would suggest to download Knoppix Live CD, boot your system with this CD, copy the needed documents and pictures, boot your system into Vista, check whether all copied files are ok and reformat your old HD.
