IE7-IE8: Remote Assistance does not work

Specs: Windows 7
After upgrading from Internet Explorer 7 to Internet Explorer 8 the Remote Assistance does not work anymore. When I try to offer an remote assistance, I see the session of the user logged on. If I want to connect to this session, I get the error message: A Remote Assistance connection could not be established. You may want to check for network issues or determine if the invitation expired or was cancelled by the person who sent it. Is there a known solution?
