how to fix a permission when everyone is deni

Specs: server 2008
ok the problem is that when creating folder i shared them and give them permissions as to write,read, execute ect... and when the folder is not selected i accendently deny the permission thinking it was a folder and the everyone permission was denied: this was at school so any suggestion on how to fix that problem otherwise i can't give permission to my other folders....

Isn't the first thing they teach is to never do a deny on the everyone group? As for a solution, you could try taking ownership of the folder and see if it will allow you to remove the everyone group. Before you do make sure the administrators group is there and does not have a deny on all rights.

Hope it helps. Oh, and as a rule the first thing I do is remove the everyone group from my shares when setting up my ACLs because it is a security risk.

Tha should work. The owner can always change permissions whatever restrictions have been placed. Makes sense really.
