we have a hard drive in our server basically a second one in a tray which we use to backup to. If we try to use some hotswap software to disconnect the drive it says the drive is still in use even though we have nothing else open.

if we reboot the server we can then hotswap the hard drive without a problem. But heres the problem if we leave it a little while the problem then comes back. We have run process viewer and it just says explorer is accessing the drive but we cant see why as nothing is open on he screen.

Does anyone know a way around this.
