hi.
I have this problem, when I install Server 2008 on the first boot it asks me for a password, or to input the first admin password.
No matter what I input I always get password does not meet minimum password settings or whatever.
How the hell do I install Server 2008?

I'm just a shadow of my former self!

You must meet the complexity requirements for the password. In other words, you can't have a simple password of "password" anymore.

Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories:

* English uppercase characters (A through Z).
* English lowercase characters (a through z).
* Base 10 digits (0 through 9).
* Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %).

So, instead of "password", try "Pa$$w0rd."
