i have installed windows 2008 server 64 bit edition as well as exchange server 2007 64 bit. done most configuration but the server or exchange not sure which one - is downloading data from the internet 24hours a day - on average 1.2gb per day. what could be causing the activity? i have a 6gb adsl cap which is just being chewed up by these downloads. not sure what to check for - please help

use sysinternals utility to find out what connections are made to what sites to give you idea what is being downloaded,
disable your automatic update

Im not sure if WSUS is built into 2008 distro but you might want to check that too.
