i have installed windows 2008 server 64 bit edition as well as exchange server 2007 64 bit. done most configuration but the server or exchange not sure which one - is downloading data from the internet 24hours a day - on average 1.2gb per day. what could be causing the activity? i have a 6gb adsl cap which is just being chewed up by these downloads. not sure what to check for - please help Lawrence

use sysinternals utility to find out what connections are made to what sites to give you idea what is being downloaded, disable your automatic update
