Specs: Windows 7
My mail is at my isp and just installed exchange 2010 and everything is up and running now. Dont I need to point my ISP's mail records to my external IP address now to use my mail excange server? I was curious the process and was told I need to make a mx record in dns also. Everything seems installed ok the checklist for a typical install went ok.

Just contact your ISP that is hosting your domain, and ask that they put in the appropriate records to have all SMTP draffic go to your IP address.
