hi! can any one help me fix this issue. my ethernet controller driver does not work with windows server 2008 Enterprise edition. i have got ibm 8429 machine and i have been to ibm website as well, it has got the relevant driver but that one is not comoaptible with win server 2008. i need to fix this issue urgently!

So the 8429 system is a S50, a slimline desktop model, which is probably why you can't find drivers. However, the NIC in that system is just an Intel NIC, so go to Intel's web site and look for the driver there.

If worst came to worst, go buy yourself a $10 NIC that is supported by Server 2008 and put it into a PCI slot.
