Editing the failed logon message on Windows 2008 R2 Domain

November 15, 2012 at 05:19:01
Specs: Windows XP

When entering the wrong username or password, Windows responds with a "...wrong username and/or password..." message. I need to edit that message so that the message says something different.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Server is Windows 2008 R2
Workstations are Windows XP SP3

Thanks in advance.

Read creating a logon script. That might help. It also gives the location of the current script.

The only way I can think of to edit that is to build a custom GINA.
