Hey guys, I got a 2k3 DNS server on one network, and I want to have a set of workstation on a different network. My goal is to put a 2008 Core server on the new network, put it on the same domain, and have it replicate DNS. Will it automatically replicate the 2k3's DNS if i just add it to the domain and setup DNS server?

Since the 2008 Core server won't be a DC, it won't replicate DNS as part of standard replication. You'll have to manually configure replication (transfers) between the two.
