Automated background image changes

Hi I have a 2008r2 system with windows 7 and xp clients
My company is launching a new product in a few weeks, we would usually use a group policy to update everyones desktop image to "coming soon"
What I would like to do is set up for this image to change on a daily basis automatically, ie each image will have new text on "10 days to go" "9 days to go" etc
Are there any scripts or does anyone know how to do this without manually going in and updating the policy image on a daily basis.
Hope this makes sense
Thanks in advance

It's just a guess but Powershell might be what you need.

You could do the same thing with a the reg add command. However, I think it would take you more time to make a script that evaluated the date, and based on the date, copied a new background image and set the registry value to the path of that file than it would to just go into group policy and change the GPO every day.
