I set up a 2003 server at my office to play with a couple of months ago. (Again thanks to all who have been so helpful? I bought the book “Mastering windows 2003 Server”, it's very good.)
I wanted to replace my computer with a new one. So I saved all the documents and relevant information. bla bla
when I put the new computer online and connected to my domain abc.local. I logged in and to my surprise after like a 15 min login all my documents, my email and my desktop items were already their.
How friggn cool is that.
So the stupid question is, is how I did that. I mean I just set up the server and have been going through the book but don’t quite know specifically how the server does this. The folders are not set to "offline" I have seen that before.
