Hi,
I have a HP Netserver LC2000 U3 server running Windows NT4 server.
Apparently, this server model is no longer supported by HP ( I bought it only 2 years ago... )
Anyways, HP cannot tell me if my server is compatible with WinServer 2003 !
Do you have any ideas if I can replace my NT4 with WinServer 2003 ( on my HP Netserver LC2000 ) ??

Take a look at Microsoft HCL.

Being only 2 years old should be new enuff to be ok. BUT, HP like Compaq and IBM do some strange stuff to ordinary things like the video cards, SCSI arrays that can make them incompatible with newer os's.
The HCL contains only 90% of whats out there, the only way to find out is to install it and see what happens.

Hi Rick,
You're right. I negociated with my supplier. I told them to make their tests, and if it works, i'll pay and if it don't, they will for their experience (lol !) They called me back and told me it was a deal hehe !
So i'll let you know the results of their tests :)
