Hi I have recently installed a Windows 2003 SBS server on a site that was previously using Windows NT4 Terminal Server as their data server. They only have a couple of workstations which I have installed succesfully on the new domain using active directory. They can all log on to the new domain fine. I transferred most of the files off the old server to the new however they still want to leave the old NT4 server on the network. Will this cause any conflicts or problems (domain controller issues) and if so what has to be done ?

I believe you mean NT Server, not NT4 Server. As long as it's not being used as a Domain Controller, and is used only as a file server, then you won't have any problems.

The fact that you installed the new server on its own domain should be good enough that you don't need to worry about the other server...even if it is a PDC. As long as everyone's pointing to the new domain everything should be fine.
