Microsoft is the worst site you could find something. The information you provided was on the microsoft's first page for windows 2003 R2. If I wanted to know what microsoft thought about the program, i would have done what you did: go to microsoft's page about R2 and read all the goody goods about how wonderful their program is. I wanted to know from someone here if they had used it, how it was, their experience and so on.... That's not the info you asked. You asked specifically what are the new features, and if R2 is X64. The page Jennifer linked you to has links that discuss the new features of R2 (Find Out What's New in Windows Server 2003 R2).
