now im really frustrated and i thank anyone helping in advanced but i created my domain in windows server 2003 standard taurustech.local. now i cant access 2 drives on my local machine after i joined it to the domain. is this a local thing or a domain thing?

unless you created and implemented a GPO that restricts local access your issue is only a local xp issue.

kk thanks i found the problem though it was in the security portion i had to add the everyone to it because i had set certain drive for certain users. so it was my amatuer mistake. thanks for the reply sorry if i wasted a thread.
